A restriction ring 104 formed in a ring-like shape is moved along an axial direction of a spool 20 interlocking with rotation of the spool 20, in the storage state or the state immediately before it, the restriction ring 104 is interposed between a ratchet tooth 110 and a W pawl 80, and it is restricted that the W pawl 80 is engaged with the ratchet tooth 110. Here, since the restriction ring 104 has a ring-like shape and is moved along the axial direction of the spool 20, even if the W pawl 80 pivoted around an axis parallel to the axial direction of the spool 20 is abutted on an inner peripheral part of the restriction ring 104, the inner peripheral part of the restriction ring 104 is engaged with an engagement pin 112 so as to suppress movement of the restriction ring 104 in a direction leaving from a V gear 66.
