Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a high strength bolt capable of easily performing torque control in fastening without increasing the processing costs of a joint part, and a joining method using the high strength bolt.
CONSTITUTION: A taper part 16 on the tip of a bolt main body 11 is inserted into a bolt hole 9, a wedge body 14 is interposed between the taper part 16 and the bolt hole 9, a frictional force is made to be produced between the outer peripheral surface of the wedge body 14 and the bolt hole 9 by a tensile force in fastening, and the bolt main body 11 is fastened by means of a nut 13 screwed to an external thread part 15 while being fixed into the bolt hole.
