A weed growth prevention method is the complex method which prevents weed growth by integrally combining an elastic shaped amorphous material and fixed shaped sheets. In the method, the elastic shaped amorphous material is single liquid or two-liquid polyurethane resin and the fixed shaped sheets are single or complex modified sheets of a rubber asphalt sheet, an asphalt sheet and a synthetic rubber sheet into which a reinforcement such as nonwoven fabric is inserted, and moreover the fixed shaped sheets are rubber asphalt sheets into which a reinforcement having either or both of mineral surfaced finish or rear surface adhesive is inserted.
