Abstract:

To provide a weeder with burrowing rudders, capable of making a cutter edge burrow underground into an appropriate depth so as to cut weeds from their roots even when a handle of the weeder is simply plunged by an operator in a standing position.

In this weeder with the burrowing rudders, the cutter edges 2, 2' are formed on a blade 3 with a predetermined length, and further the burrowing rudders 5, 5' are extended from both of the right and left sides 4, 4' of the blade. Further, a sleeve 8 into which a rod handle 7 is inserted is protrusively positioned on a mounting bracket 9, and bearing holes 11 located at the tops of both fork ends 10, 10' are attached to mounting eyes 6 with rivets so that the fork ends freely rotate.
