To provide a weeding device capable of simply and surely conducting weeding work in a narrow place and a narrow region.
This weeding device is equipped with a rotation shaft 2 at a top end of a holding-type support rod 1, so that the shaft 2 extends in approximately parallel to a working plane, and is rotated and driven. The rotation shaft 2 is equipped with a grounding means the height of which is controlled, so that the shaft 2 is maintained in a fixed height from the ground surface. Blade bodies 3 which extend in the radial direction are mounted on a plurality of positions on the rotation shaft 2 in the longitudinal direction. Bottom parts of the blade bodies 3 are each axially supported by a radially-extending shaft of the rotation shaft 2, so as to be freely rotated, and top parts thereof are each formed into a working blade 5. When the rotation shaft 2 is rotated and the top parts of the blade bodies 3 axially supported on the rotation shaft 2 are contacted with the ground on which weeds are growing, the blade bodies 3 are rotated and moved in the reverse direction of the rotation in accordance with the rotation of the rotation shaft 3, and therefore the working blades 5 formed on the top ends of the blade bodies 3 draw the weeds, by moving in such a manner as to scrape against the ground surface. The weeding device is mounted on a commonly-known weed cutter as an attachment and conducts the weeding work.
