Title:
WEEDING SCISSORS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002369601
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide small-sized, light, strong and practical weeding scissors which have both functions of readily putting weeds between themselves and easily pulling out the weeds and functions of cutting and reaping the weeds and are applicable to weeding of a wide range of weeds.

The weeding scissors have a structure having hooks with clipping faces, which are projected from blade faces to both edges of blades and mutually stuck fast, a grip and a finger ring which are attached to a long and a short shafts, respectively and are approximately perpendicular to the crossed scissors. Consequently, an operation can be carried out with the wrist extended and weeds can be nipped and pulled out upward by using grasping power. At least one of the grip and the finger ring of both the shafts is made movable depending on a grasp. A spindle with a sickle hook, which is fixed to the grip, set along the inside of the long shaft and has a scissors pivoting and pinning part, further improves workability and strengthens the scissors.
