Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject feeder designed to ensure wefts to be threaded via rotary yarn guide into the main nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: A weft Y is allowed to fly from the outlet of a rotary yarn guide 9 by the air jet from a threading nozzle 41, being subjected to, en route, the suction and jet action of boosters 49, 50 and threaded into the main nozzle 12. Here, when yarn presence is detected by a sensor 51 set on the booster 49, the air jet from the threading nozzle 41 is stopped; and afterwards, the weft Y is threaded through the boosters 49, 50 and the main nozzle 12.
