Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title apparatus of high duration even when the weaving speed is increased, by guiding the air guide between adjacent warps in the backing direction relatively to the slay sword.
CONSTITUTION: Air guide 7 which is supported movably so that it can go back relatively to the slay sword, is guided with cam 20 fixed on the frame side of the weaving machine, and the air guide is guided in the backing direction to the slay sword on beating to prevent tack-in selvage apparatus from interfering with cloth fell device. The air guide is always guided with the cam to increase its duration, even when the weaving operation speed is increased.
