Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weft insertion device capable of stably inserting weft by eliminating a change of a jetting angle of a weft insertion nozzle in view of a vertical direction accompanying a position adjustment in a warp direction of the weft insertion nozzle as much as possible.SOLUTION: A supporting structure 3, which is a base member fixed to a frame of a loom, comprises a base member having a fixing face extending in a vertical direction and a warp direction while fixing to the frame, a supporting member having a face to be fixed which supports the weft insertion nozzle at one end side and can contact the fixing face at the other end side, and a fixing structure 6 for fixing the supporting member to the base member while contacting the face to be fixed to the fixing face, where a position-adjusting part 8 comprises the fixing face, the face to be fixed, and a fixing structure, and the fixing structure fixes the supporting member to the base member by acting a press force for pressing the face to be fixed to the fixing face, the press force being a press force in a direction orthogonal to the face to be fixed for the supporting member while contacting the face to be fixed to the fixing face.
