Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a weft thread presentation apparatus by which weft threads are surely selectively presented during working of a loom at a high speed and which limits the space requirement conditions for the presentation of the weft threads to be inserted to a minimum.
CONSTITUTION: This weft thread presentation apparatus has a weft sequence control having a weft thread presenting device 1, a control thread clamp 2 having clamp positions 3a to 3f and a guide member 4 having a slit 5. The occurrence of intersection of weft thread tracks is surely averted in accordance with the positional relations between the weft thread presenting device 1 and the clamp positions 3a to 3f and the tracks are not affected even if the clamp positions 3a to 3f are displaced with respect to a reference plane 6. The respective clamp positions 3a to 3f and the movement of the weft thread presenting device 1 associated therewith are matched, by which the weft threads 8a to 8f are presented to the gripper at the reference plane 6 while the contact between the weft threads 8a to 8f is prohibited.
