Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a sensor capable of miniaturizing and reducing the thickness thereof, facilitating the installation of a reed in a reed plate and enabling the sure sensing of flying of weft yarn.
CONSTITUTION: A sensing part 9, inserted into reed plates 4-1 of a reed 3 in a shuttleless loom and having a pair of electrodes 8-1 and 8-2 for inducing charged electricity of flying weft yarn 2 is integrated with an amplifier 15 for amplifying the induced charged electricity and a waveform shaper 16 for shaping the waveform of the output signal from the amplifier 15 and outputting the shaped signal to construct a sensor 17 interlocking with the reed 3. Thereby, the flying weft yarn 2 is sensed with the output signal of the sensor 17.
