PURPOSE: To provide a weighing apparatus for a walking animal which can accurately measure the weight of a single walking animal.

CONSTITUTION: A weighing stage 2 for weighing a walking animal and an operating 'means 92, which computes the static weight of the walking animal based on the time-series data of the weighed value when the walking animal passes on the weighing stage 2, are provided. In this weighing apparatus for the walking animal, an entrance detection means D1, which detects the entering state from the start of the riding of the walking animal from the entrance part of the weighing stage 2 to the completion of the riding, and a leaving detecting means D2, which detects the leaving state from the start of the leaving of the walking animal from the exit part of the weighing stage 2 to the completion of the leaving, are provided. An operating means 92 extracts the data section, wherein the entrance detecting means D1 does not detect the entering state and the state, wherein the leaving detecting means D2 does not detect the leaving state, among the time-series data and computes the static weight based on the time-series data of the data section in this constitution.
