PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an abnormal wear of a guide member by slidably guiding a shaft member by a guide member mounted to a kneading machine main body and connecting it to ends of a connecting beam in a manner as to allow it to move a distance equal to or greater than a gap of the guide member only in a horizontal direction intersecting rectangularly to a hydraulic cylinder to thereby realise smooth ascending and descending movements.
SOLUTION: A hopper 11 is provided continuously with a supply port communicating with a kneading chamber 9 of a chamber 1, and a floating weight 6 adapted to slidably ascend and descend is disposed thereon. The floating weight 6 is made integral with a weight device Y via a stem 13 and a hydraulic cylinder 15 is connected thereto and disposed diagonally therewith. The weight device Y is constituted mainly by a connecting beam 14, the hydraulic cylinder 15, and a connecting means 30 for connecting the hydraulic cylinder to ends of the connecting beam 14, thereby making it possible to allow the hydraulic cylinder 15 to move smoothly while preventing damages to a rod 19 and a piston 18 of the hydraulic cylinder 15.
