PURPOSE: To compensate for the density change of a fuel that passes through a fuel control device rapidly and to control the weight flow rate of the fuel accurately by providing a spool that works together with a probe.
CONSTITUTION: When a fuel flows into a spool 24 of a metering valve 16 and soaks a temperature probe 12, a rod 44 and a shell 42 respond rapidly to a temperature change. In this manner, the rod 44 is operated in a bearing 60 and a feedback device 46 is repositioned. A device 46 outputs a signal to an electronic fuel control device 10 and a valve 40 controls the flow rate of the fuel that flows in conduits 36 and 38 according to a command by the control device 10, thus driving the spool 24. Since a window 30 is provided in an exponential channel shape, a connection area between the window 30 of a metering valve 16 and a hole 28 changes due to the change in the percentage of the specific ratio (density) of the fuel and the percentage of the fuel flow rate corresponding to it changes, thus canceling the change in specific ratio and hence accurately controlling the weight flow rate of the fuel.
