To provide a weight sensor that does not require a capacitance weight sensor circuit, can be buried under the ground at low cost without affecting the noise, natural environment, or the like, and provides a detection area of a large range (area, distance).
The weight sensor has a structure, where a spacer of insulator is mounted on the surface of an APA aluminum resin compound aluminum electrode E3b and is gripped by an electrode S3a, and has a structure where the periphery between the electrodes is covered with a shield 6; and the periphery of it is further covered with an expandable sealed cover insulator 5 due to the weight. Especially, the constitution of a sensor, according to each application is easy, identification of small animals, humans, vehicles, or the like is available, and the detection area of the large range and the ground burial are allowed.
