Abstract:
To provide a method reducing a back water phenomenon and devising the safety of a levee though the back water phenomenon is generated and there is the fear of the break of the levee in conventional fixed weirs.
In a weir, the weir of a different kind, in which the height of the conventional fixed weir is lowered, a movable weir is positioned on the fixed weir and an insufficient height is supplied, is superposed to the weir.
