In the welded joint formed by superposing a first member 1 and a second member 2 and applying high energy beam 3 welding to the jointing ends 1a, 2a to joint, thick parts 11a, 12a whose bending rigidity is higher than that of other part or a low yield strength part 20 is formed on each of the jointing ends 1a, 2a of the first member 1 and the second member 2, and on the other hand, the end face 12b in the thick part 12a on the beam radiation side is made a slant face having an inclination angle of 30°-60° from the bottom face 12d and the high energy beam 3 is radiated on the slant face for jointing.
