PURPOSE: To provide a welding device which prevents the occurrence of deviation of a welded part, the reduction in strength and the exercise of a forcible force on an object to be welded, by a method wherein the welded part of the object to be welded is regulated by a position regulating device having a specified structure.
CONSTITUTION: Position regulating devices 7, which regulate a position of a welding part at a time when an object 15' to be welded, being held by a press board, is welded, are mounted around the object 15' to be welded. The position regulating device 7 is positioned so that it can be moved by working cylinders 9, 9', and pressing members 8, 8 press a spot in the proximity of a welding part to regulate a position. It is advisable that a protruberant press part is formed in the proximity of the upper end part of the press member, or the welding part of the object to be welded.
