Abstract:
To easily and accurately perform repair welding for a die, etc., without requiring skill.
A holder 12 which performs welding with a a wire D for an electrode is connected with a main body 11 through a gas tube 22 incorporating a lead wire 23 for an arc and a lead wire 24 for a motor. When welding is started, a displacement of an arc voltage from the main body 11 is detected, feed back is controlled, a feed direction and speed of an electrode wire are properly changed, and a space between an end of the electrode wire D and a work is maintained at optimal distance for arc generation so that always optimal welding may be performed.
