The welding equipment comprises a flat base 2 made of non-magnetic metal, mounting mechanisms 3 for dismountably attaching the flat base 2 to workpieces W by attraction, a welding carriage 5 which holds a welding torch 4 and a drop preventing magnet and travels on the base 2, and copying walls 2b which guide the welding carriage 5 so as to travel on the base 2 along the abutting line L of the workpieces W.
