Abstract:
To reduce the size in a width direction, of a welding gun having guide mechanism.SOLUTION: A welding gun 100 comprises: a fixed electrode 11 fixed to an arm 30; a movable electrode 12 held in a holder 22 and provided in an advanceable and retractable manner; a pressurization drive unit 40 that includes a rod portion 41 fixed to the holder 22 holding the movable electrode 12 and moving the holder 22 forward with respect to the arm 30 and that sandwiches a welding object 300 between the movable electrode 12 and the fixed electrode 11 to thereby pressurizes the welding object 300; and a ball spline 50 (guide mechanism) that is disposed to extend parallel to a shaft C3 of the rod portion 41 and guides the holder 22, wherein the rod portion 41 is fixed to the holder 22 at a position eccentric to an extension line of a shaft C1 of the fixed electrodes 11, and the ball spline 50 has only one spline shaft 51 fixed to the holder 22 in a plane including a shaft C2 of the movable electrode 12 and a shaft C3 of the rod section 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
