To improve hume collecting efficiency and convenience by fitting the sucking tube of a hume which is generated in the metallic fixtures of a surface part where a light shielding lens is fitted at the time of arc welding and also respectively arranging a hume sucking hose and a sucking nozzle in the both end parts of the sucking tube.
In a welding light shielding mask 1, the light shielding lens 3 for protecting the eyes of a welding worker is fitted to the lower part 2a of the surface part 2 in the metallic fixtures 4, which is positioned in the center part of the mask and exclusively used in a hume collecting equipment for collecting the hume generated at the time of arc welding. In this case, the hume sucking tube 5 is fitted to the metallic fixtures 4 and also a grip 6 is disposed in a part of a longitudinal tube part 5a which is extended to its lower part. Then, the hume sucking nozzle 7 is inserted to the tip part 5b of the tube 5 and fastened by a clamp 8 and, in the meantime, the sucking hose (b) whose inner diameter is connected to the sucking port of the hume collecting equipment and where an inner diameter is specified to be 20-40 mm is connected at the discharge side of the part 5a.
