To provide a welding material for golf club having characteristics such as high welding strength, a proper flowing property, corrosion resistance and the like.
This welding material for golf club consists of 18.0 wt.% of chromium, 1.2 wt.%; of boron, 1.8 wt.%; of silicon, 1.2 wt.% of iron, 0.24 wt.% of carbon, 6.0 wt.% of phosphor, other elements, and a remaining component of an element such as nickel or the like. The other elements include 0.05 wt.% or less of aluminum, 0.05 wt.% or less of titanium, 0.05 wt.% of zirconium, and 0.05 wt.% or less of cobalt, and the total content is smaller than 0.5 wt.%. These components are heated, melted and sufficiently mixed, whereby a fine granular alloy is formed. According to this, since the welding material can be sufficiently mixed with a flux, and the welding path also has a uniform structure, the difference in strength, corrosion resistance and other material characteristics depending on the position of the path can be eliminated.
