Abstract:
To provide a technology which can improve estimation accuracy of an irradiation position of an energy beam in a direction intersecting with a boundary part in welding metal materials by irradiating the boundary part of two metal materials with the energy beam.SOLUTION: A welding method includes: a first process of melting and solidifying a first metal material 11 and a second metal material 12, and forming a dot-like or linear melted and solidified part 40; a second process of positioning an irradiation position 31 of an energy beam 30 to have a prescribed positional relationship with respect to the irradiation position 31 in the first process in a direction D intersecting with a boundary part 10 before and after the first process, irradiating an inspection irradiation position P0 at an inner side or at an outer side of an irradiation area 33 of the energy beam 30 in the first process with the energy beam 30, changing a state of the inspection irradiation position P0, and forming a dot-like or linear state change part 50; and an inspection process of inspecting a position of the state change part 50 with respect to the boundary part 10 after the second process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
