Abstract:
To provide a welding method and a welding structure which can reduce carbon elution amounts during welding and suppress poor welding.SOLUTION: In the welding method in which a first member and a second member having carbon amounts different from each other are butted to each other and a bevel is formed, and the first member is welded to the second member by imparting energy to the bevel, the first member and the second member have first butting parts and second butting parts including first opposing surfaces and second opposing surfaces which are contacted with each other; the bevel forms a symmetrical shape with virtual extending surfaces of the first opposing surfaces and the second opposing surfaces as centers, with the first opposing surfaces contacted with the second opposing surfaces; the first butting parts and the second butting parts are formed so that volumes of the first butting parts in the first member having comparatively more carbon amounts are smaller than volumes of the second butting parts in the second member having comparatively smaller carbon amounts; and the first member is welded to the second member by imparting energy toward a center of the bevel formed by contacting the first opposing surfaces with the second opposing surfaces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
