PURPOSE: To melt surely a flux and to weld surely a joint part by discharging linearly a pasty joining material formed of a powdery flux and a medium from a nozzle to the joint part and heating said material to melt then cooling the joint part to slidify the joining material.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture prepd. by mixing a highly oxidative metal such as aluminum or the like and a highly reducing metallic oxide such as iron oxide is used for a flux. The size of the powder is made to such a size at which the powder passes through a nozzle and which is small enough to form a paste. A low melting compd. which is liquid at an ordinary temp. or melts with slight heating is used for the medium. The medium which evaporates away in short time after the medium is coated to the joint part is more preferable. Arc heat, heat of gas welding, etc., heat of laser light, etc., local heating by a high frequency coil or the like is used for heating the joining material.
