To provide a welding power supply device capable of suitably detecting an electrode tip voltage used for control and capable of contributing to improvement of welding performance.
In a measurement mode, a total resistance value at an output side of the power supply device is calculated on the basis of a voltage value of an output voltage when an output current I generated by operation of an inverter circuit is set as a current value Ip1. Inductance values La1 and Lb1 when the output current I is set to two current values Ip1 and Ip2 corresponding to a normal region A1 and an oversaturated region A2 of a DC reactor are detected, and a total inductance value is calculated as a function L (I) by linearly interpolating the two inductance values La1 and Lb1. During welding operation, the control device corrects changes in the voltage related to the total resistance value and the total inductance value for the voltage value of the detected output voltage to calculate the tip voltage.
