To prevent dispersion in welding quality by providing a slit in a plane material, pressing a bar-like material into this, and certainly contacting the both with each other for welding.
This welding structure comprises a plane material 11, a slit 13 machined in this, and a bar-like material 12. When the bar-like material 12 is pressed into the slit 13 as a welding procedure, the slit 13 is turned up to the reverse side of the press-in direction of the bar-like material 12, and becomes into a state 14 where it certainly contacts with the bar-like material 12. When a welding electrode 16 is then approached for welding, the welding melts the tip of the bar-like material 12 projecting from the plane material 11 and simultaneously melts the turned up slit 14, and thus the bar-like material 12 and the plane material 11 can be certainly welded. Because welding positions of the plane material and the bar-like material exist on the plane in the electrode direction, confirmation of the welding state is facilitated by visual observation.
