Abstract:

PURPOSE: To correct defects on a slot weld zone back bead part and to sufficiently advance fatigue characteristics of a product.

CONSTITUTION: A head casing 7 fitted with an electrode 6 on its tip is fitted on the capillary torch main body 5 tip, a torch guide 8 slidable along a vane 3 which is material to be welded to maintain constant the distance between the vane 3 and a disc 2, and the electrode 6 tip is provided integrally on the head casing 7 and a fiber scope 11 capable of monitoring a welding place of the vane 3 and the disk 2 on the electrode 6 tip side via heat resistant glass 9 and light shielding glass 10 is connected to the torch guide 8.
