To provide a welding transformer for an inverter type resistance welding machine which solves the problem in which a maximum current decreases with increasing a control frequency, and can be compatible with downsizing and energy saving.
A large cooling effect is produced by a cooling water path of a secondary winding because a primary winding is made into a thin structure in which winding copper sheets are stacked one upon another. Therefore, the primary winding can be stacked above and below the secondary winding. Two copper plates for the secondary winding are adjacent to each other, and an inductance is configured to be extremely small. A transformer section and a control section are integrated with each other. Further, by using the primary winding of a bent structure, the inductance is minimized, and the entire structure of the welding transformer is compact.
