Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide guardrails for securing safety of an occupant in a wheelchair and comfort in a backseat in a welfare vehicle configured to fold the backseat to form a wheelchair mounting space.SOLUTION: Guardrails 8 include inclined parts 10b as grip parts formed obliquely upward and provided at both-side back parts of a welfare vehicle 1. When the backseat 2 of the welfare vehicle 1 is folded frontward and a wheel chair 90 is mounted thereon, the higher pars of the inclined parts 10 of the guardrails 8 are positioned at the front side and fixedly held in a first state the guardrails form a truncated chevron shape in the plane view. However, when the backseat 2 is disposed to be used, the higher parts of the guardrails are positioned at the back side and fixedly held in a second state where the guardrails are substantially parallel to the side faces of the backseat 2.
