Abstract:
To provide a Western-style toilet bowl apparatus capable of reducing the scattering of flushing water to the outside of a toilet bowl during the operation of a toilet bowl flushing means.
This Western-style toilet bowl apparatus 10 is equipped with the toilet bowl flushing means 21 for emitting a jet of flushing water into the toilet bowl in the closed state of a toilet seat lid 13. The toilet bowl apparatus 10 comprises locking members 30 and 31 for maintaining the closed state of the toilet seat lid 13, and a control means 11 for actuating the toilet bowl flushing means by detecting the completion of a locking operation by the locking means.
