To easily set, change and display an optimum cleaning condition while preventing clothes from shrinking, loosing their shapes, or becoming fluffy when the clothes are continuously washed in large amounts, as in a cleaning factory.

This wet cleaning method comprises the step of sorting out the clothes to be cleaned and inputting data on the clothes sorted, the step of consulting a record file which records basic data for each kind of clothes, then determining at least washing data and rinsing data from the input data on the clothes to be washed, and storing them in a temporary file, the step of displaying on a display device the data stored in the temporary file, and the step of wet cleaning the clothes by use of the data displayed.
