To provide a wet electrophotographic recording sheet having a good toner fixing property in printing by a wet electrophotographic system using a toner.

In the wet electrophotographic recording sheet obtained by disposing one or more coating layers on at least one face of base paper or a resin sheet, when the amount of pigment components is considered to be 100 mass%, 50-97 mass% calcium carbonate as an inorganic pigment component and 3-50 mass% resin particles having a melt viscosity of ≥200 mPa s at 120°C as an organic pigment component are contained in the coating layers. Preferably the calcium carbonate is precipitated calcium carbonate light and the resin particles are particles of at least one selected from polystyrene, a styrene-acrylic copolymer and a polyester resin.
