Abstract:
To provide a wet friction material which reduces a drag torque in configuration that is different from the prior arts.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a wet friction material 1 comprising a core plate 2 and a friction part 3 which is disposed in a ring shape on a principal surface 2a. The friction part 3 includes an inner peripheral wall 4 which is formed substantially circular for preventing a lubricant that is supplied from an inner peripheral side Sfrom flowing out to an outer peripheral side S. The inner peripheral wall 4 is formed in a shape that does not include an opening penetrating to the outer peripheral side. The friction part 3 consists of multiple friction portions 3N (31-35), and the inner peripheral wall 4 is configured by concatenating inner peripheral walls 4N (41-45) that the multiple friction portions 3N include. Each of the multiple friction portions 3N includes a lateral projection which is laterally projected for concatenating the inner peripheral walls 4N.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
