Abstract:
SOLUTION: There are provided wet nonwoven fabric of a short carbon fiber, which is characterized in that the blended amount of a short carbon fiber is not less than 10 mass% and less than 98 mass%, and the ratio of the maximum value and the minimum value (the maximum value/the minimum value) of tensile strength in the flow direction, in the width direction and in the oblique direction is lower than 3.0, and a carbon fiber reinforced resin comprised of the wet nonwoven fabric of a short carbon fiber and a resin compounded with the wet nonwoven fabric of a short carbon fiber.EFFECT: Wet nonwoven fabric of a short carbon fiber can be obtained, which exhibits uniform molding fluidity upon being molded into a carbon fiber reinforced resin (CFRP) and has excellent strength and uniformity subsequent to being molded into a CFRP.SELECTED DRAWING: None
