To provide a wet paper conveying belt that improves a first function of attaching a wet paper to a wet paper conveying belt and conveying the wet paper and a second function of smoothly removing the wet paper in a transfer of the wet paper between a present process and the following process and suppresses warpage at both end parts of the wet paper conveying belt during traveling.

The wet paper conveying belt 1 has a wet paper side layer 31 containing a resin and a hydrophilic fiber body 30 and a machine side layer 32. A ground woven fabric 33 arranged inside of the belt is constituted by laminating a first woven fabric 34 arranged at a wet paper W side to a second woven fabric 35 arranged at a press roll 10 side. At least a part of the hydrophilic fiber body is exposed to the surface 37 of the wet paper side layer. The weight of the first woven fabric is heavier than that of the second woven fabric.
