Title:
WET SMELTING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013253276
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a wet smelting method capable of reducing the total amount of process water within a process system.

A wet smelting method includes: a chlorine leaching step of subjecting an intended metal contained in a sulfide to chlorine leaching; a first solid-liquid separation step of solid-liquid separating a slurry discharged from the chlorine leaching step into a leaching residue and a leachate; a repulping step of making the leaching residue into a slurry by adding repulping water thereto; and a second solid-liquid separation step of solid-liquid separating the slurry into a leaching residue and a separated liquid, in which a part of the separated liquid is supplied as the repulping water to the repulping step. The amount of new water can be reduced by the amount a part of the separate liquid used as the repulping water, and the total amount of process water within the process system can be consequently reduced.
