Abstract:
PURPOSE: To recover I2 by addition of calcium iodate to a portion of absorption solution which has been formed through absorption of NOx and SO2 contained in exhaust gas with lime slurry containing iodide of a alkali (-earth)metal, and to reutilize the separated iodine by reacting it with slaked lime as absorption solution.
