To provide a wet type dust collecting apparatus which has a simple and compact constitution and is excellent in portability.

A discharge port 19 of discharge chamber 21 which discharges water is arranged opposite to a dust supply port 13 in a dust receiving chamber 22 where the dust supply port 13 into which the dust is supplied is opened and formed, the inside of the dust receiving chamber 22 is kept to be in a negative pressure and the dust is supplied together with air from the dust supply port 13. Therein, the water which is discharged by a feeding pressure P1 of a feeding pump 24 is pushed from a discharge port 19 by a supply pressure P2 supplying the dust, the water discharged from the discharge port 19 is blown out as to be sent and spread in a fountain shape upward. As a result, the dust is efficiently brought into contact with water droplets which become fine particles due to the fountain-shape jet in the opposite state and is absorbed thereby and, therefore, the efficient dust collection is achieved.
