Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a judder to be restricted by defining a facing shape of a friction material to optimize an oil film at the surface of the friction material and to adjust the oil film being engaged.SOLUTION: There are provided a plurality of segment pieces 40 connected in annular form to either specified one surface or both surfaces of a core plate 10 and an inter-segment groove 41 with a prescribed groove width T formed among the plurality of segment pieces 40. ATF, which flows on a slant surface formed into a triangular shape with a width of an extremity end 40a at a rotational direction side of each of the segment pieces 40 being wide and a width of a rear end 40b in the rotational direction being wide, is less likely to ride on the segment piece 40 since a tip of each of the segment pieces 40 is formed into an acute angle, and a formation of an oil film at the surface of the segment piece 40 is reduced. Thus, it is possible to control a thickness of the oil film generated at the surface of the segment piece 40, improve μ-V characteristic and further improve judder characteristics.
