Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a wet type image forming device which is compact, small in the number of parts, free of liquid splash/leak, and less in the consumption of a carrier liquid even in the use of two-component developer.
CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive drum 10, a development roller 11 for supplying developer to the photosensitive drum 10, and a cleaning foam roller 12, as a cleaning member, which can change the distance between its shaft and the photosensitive body shaft, are rotatably set in a casing 13 containing the developer. An opening through which the top part of the photosensitive drum 10 is exposed is made in the casing 13, and an electrifier 15 and an exposure optical system, both of which are used for forming a latent image via the opening, are provided. The electrifier 15 is used for both uniform electrification for use in the latent image formation and transfer electrification for use in the image transfer to transfer paper, therefore one copy is made by rotating the drum 10 two times.
