Abstract:
To provide a wet type parking brake device which enables improvement of efficiency of transmission of a load transmitted from a pressing mechanism to a stator.SOLUTION: In a wet type parking brake device 10 which obtains braking force to be applied to a rotary shaft 13 by a pressing mechanism 20 pressing a stator, the pressing mechanism 20 has: a pinion shaft member 22 which is rotatably supported so that an axis Q is perpendicular to an axial direction of the rotary shaft 13; a rack member which engages with the pinion shaft member 22 and is provided in a shaft case 12 so as to be movable in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 13; and an arm member 23 which is fixed to the pinion shaft member 22 and rotates around the axis Q of the pinion shaft member 22. The rack member is placed in contact with or separated from the stator through the pinion shaft member 22 by rotation of the arm member 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
