Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type smelting method of nickel oxide ore enhancing production efficiency by suppressing early blockage of a filter device.SOLUTION: There is provided a wet type smelting method consisting of an exudation process for conducting high pressure acid exudation of nickel oxide ore, a solid solution separation process for solid liquid separating the resulting slurry after cleaning to obtain an exudate, a neutralization process for solid liquid separating neutralized deposition obtained by adding a neutralizer and a coagulant to the exudate from a neutralization finish liquid containing nickel, a dezincing process for solid liquid separating a slurry containing zinc sulfide obtained by adding a sulfurizing agent to the neutralization finish liquid to obtain a zinc sulfide and a dezincing post liquid, and a nickel recovery process for solid liquid separating mixed sulfide containing nickel obtained by adding the sulfurizing agent to the dezincing post liquid from the sulfurizing post liquid, and added amount of the neutralization agent is adjusted so that Fe concentration in the neutralization finish liquid obtained in the neutralization process is 1.25 g/L or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
