Title:
PLANAR ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3237978
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the degree of freedom in the setting of a feeding position and to easily adjust a VSWR characteristic by capacitively coupling a feeding conductor plate to a resonance conductor plate or a resonance conductor pin to feed power.
CONSTITUTION: A resonance conductor plate 2 whose peripheral length is about a half of the wavelength of frequency to be used is arranged on the upper part of a ground conductor plate 1. Space between both the plates 1, 2 may be filled with dielectric 3 in order to shorten the peripheral length. A short pin 4 short-circuits between both the plates 1, 2 and is arranged on the end part of the plate 2. A feeding conductor plate 5 is capacititively coupled with the plate 2 at the interval of a distance X and connected to the center line 7 of a coaxial cable 6 for transmitting an RF signal. An outer conductor 8 for the cable 6 is fixed to the plate 1 by a soldering means or the like and the center line 7 is connected to the plate 5 through a hole 9 of the dielectric 3 and a hole 10 of the plate 2 without coming into contact with the plate 2.
