To determine the alignment parameter of the wheel of a four-wheel vehicle by enabling each of alignment heads to control the performance of functions given to each function control module.
A system bus 26 is included in an alignment system including a plurality of wheel alignment heads being arranged so that they are mounted at a specific orientation for a wheel. A communication means is connected between a plurality of alignment heads and the system bus 26. The system includes at lead one system function device and a function control module connected between each function device and the system bus 26. A controller is provided at each function control module and the communication module 31, and a main processor device (CPU 42) is connected to the system bus 26, thus performing system calculation, sequencing control, and determining the will from the function control module and a communication routine.
