To provide a wheel alignment measuring device having reduced weight and improved flexibility of installation on a vehicle, by adopting a simple constitution.
This device includes: a portal rotating member 33 supported rotatably around the X-axis with respect to a car body side mounting part 31; an expanding/contracting mechanism member 41 including a cylinder member 41a supported rotatably around the Y-axis with respect to the portal rotating member 33, and a rod 41b displaced in the Z-axis direction with respect to the cylinder member 41a; a frame-shaped rotating member 52 supported rotatably around the Z-axis with respect to the expanding/contracting mechanism member 41; a rotating member 55 supported rotatably around the X-axis with respect to the frame-shaped rotating member 52, for supporting rotatably a wheel mounting part 59 to be mounted on a wheel 4 around its rotating shaft; and a computing unit 14 for computing displacements of the wheel 4 in the X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis directions, a toe angle variation, and a camber angle variation, based on each measured rotation angle of each of members 33, 51, 55, 41a and on displacement of the rod 41b.
