Abstract:

To provide a wheel alignment regulation method for a vehicle wherein easy and reliable regulation is practicable and error decision hardly occurs to vehicles different in a kind of a vehicle and tire characteristics, and provide a wheel alignment regulation device and a spider curve deciding device, which are used in this method.

A vehicle wheel alignment regulation method is such that at each regulation process, from an ID card 3 attached to a vehicle 1, computing and processing correction is applied on measurements based on information, such as a kind of a vehicle and tire characteristics, and a result is compared with a reference value. Easy and reliable regulation of a tow angle and a steering wheel curve is applied on vehicles different in a kind of a vehicle and tire characteristics and erroneous decision of whether the regulation satisfies a reference is prevented from occurring. Especially, since decision is practicable based on objective data without depending upon the feeling and the knack of a worker, unevenness in regulation is prevented from occurring, and reliable wheel alignment regulation is pacticable.
