Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase productivity as well as to improve appearance quality without causing a trouble at surface treatment.
SOLUTION: This wheel assembly comprises a wheel body 2 having a rim 5, a center plate 7, and a plurality of spoke portions 8, and a wheel cap 3. For the wheel body 2, only the spoke portions 8 except an edge portion thereof and a peripheral portion of the rim 5 have been polished. Therefore, polishing is required only for the required minimum portions and it is made with ease. In addition, the wheel cap 3 is mounted so that it covers an opening portion formed between the spoke portions 8 in neighboring contact, the edge portion of the spoke portion 8, and a part of the rim 5. Since the wheel cap 3 obstructed a view of the unpolished portions from outside, only a part of the wheel body 2 that is polished and the wheel cap 3 are observed from outside.
