Abstract:

To attain an increase in fatigue strength and a decrease in weight of a wheel for an automobile.

In the wheel for the automobile with a rim and a disc press-fitted into the rim, the disc has a disc attachment surface, and a hat which is constituted of a curved part R3 protruding from the disc attachment surface and has an annular form concentric with the disc, and has an intermediate curved part R2 protruding toward a disc outer surface between the disc attachment surface and the curved part R3 constituting the hat. The inclination of a line which is in contact with the intermediate curved part R2 and the curved part R3 constituting the hat is within a range of 0.7-1.1.
